The Positive Athlete program is a recognition program that celebrates high character, high school student-athletes and coaches who have overcome difficult circumstances, given back to their schools and communities in a significant way, or just have an infectious positive attitude that makes everyone around them a better person. We celebrate these athletes through National, Regional & Local Awards Programs, Sponsored Scholarships, and Unique Corporate Partnerships.

High school athletes in grades 9-12 from all sports can be nominated for the Positive Athlete program. Nominations can be submitted by adults such as coaches, parents, and community members.

The Positive Athlete program helps student-athletes prepare for their future by offering features that build character, foster connections with like-minded peers, and engage with potential employers. The program provides tools for character development, career opportunities, and meaningful networking, helping student-athletes transition from sports to life.

The Positive Athlete app offers a variety of features including free access to all Positive Athlete nominees, nominee profile management, a character development library, leadership certifications, a resume builder, a network of all Positive Athlete nominees and alumni, a messaging center, character endorsements, an education & employment opportunities hub, direct access to employers, profile shareability to recruiters, athletics director access to your school’s nominees, streamlined awards processing, and more.
