ATLANTA, GA (August, 5, 2026) Positive Athlete and the USA Basketball Foundation are proud to announce the members of the inaugural Positive Athlete and USA Basketball Foundation All-American Team, recognizing 10 extraordinary high school basketball student-athletes whose impact reaches far beyond the game.

Earlier this year, Positive Athlete and the USA Basketball Foundation announced a strategic alliance built around a shared belief that basketball can be a powerful vehicle for leadership, service, character development and positive community impact. Today, that vision comes to life with the naming of the first-ever joint All-American Team.

The 2025-2026 Positive Athlete nomination season generated more than 1,500 basketball nominations from across the United States, making this one of the most competitive recognition processes in the country. From this outstanding pool of nominees, five girls and five boys were selected to represent the very best of high school basketball student-athletes who make an impact that transcends their sport.

Representing all seven Positive Athlete regions across the country, these honorees were selected for overcoming adversity, giving back to their schools and communities, demonstrating exceptional leadership and lifting up those around them through their positivity and character.

"Our goal is to make Positive Athlete available to as many high school age student athletes as we can across the country. In this first year working together with the USA Basketball Foundation they have exceeded our expectations in helping to expand our program to high school age basketball student athletes", said Scott Pederson, CEO of Positive Athlete. "Receiving more than 1,500 basketball nominations from across the country demonstrates that there are incredible young people making a difference every day through the game of basketball. These ten student-athletes represent the very best of what it means to use sport as a platform to serve others, overcome challenges and lead with character. We are honored to celebrate them and excited for what this partnership will continue to accomplish."

Further, their character and impact reflect the USA Basketball Foundation's mission to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and the communities around them while celebrating young people who demonstrate excellence both on and off the court.

"These remarkable student-athletes embody everything the USA Basketball Foundation strives to celebrate," said Jennifer Lynne Williams, Chief Development Officer of the USA Basketball Foundation. "They have demonstrated resilience, leadership and a commitment to making a positive impact in their schools and communities. We are proud to recognize these young leaders and look forward to supporting them and seeing the difference they continue to make both on and off the court."

Each member of the inaugural All-American Team will receive a jointly signed letter of recommendation from Positive Athlete and the USA Basketball Foundation to support their future educational, leadership and career pursuits.
