We were so excited to see her featured by Colorado Preps—it’s a great deep dive into why she’s such a cornerstone of our community. Here’s a quick look at what makes her so special:

A Total Powerhouse Jesika doesn't just show up; she takes charge. Whether she's on the court or the flag football field, she’s a force to be reckoned with:
Flag Football Leader: She was a huge part of the Mountain View team’s back-to-back state title runs (and that 2024 trophy!).
Next Level Bound: She’s headed to Hastings College in Nebraska to keep playing both flag football and basketball.
Dominating the Court: She’s currently helping the Eagles to a killer 4-1 start this season, averaging nearly 14 points a game.
Leading from the Heart For Jesika, the game is a way to build a future, not just a way to win. Between her 4.0+ GPA and her business goals, she’s always looking ahead. But what really blows us away is how she treats her teammates. Her coach, Tim Test, calls her a "cornerstone"—the kind of leader who mentors the freshmen and keeps everyone’s spirit up.
"Giving your best can take you far, along with having a good mindset." — Jesika Hopkins
