San Fernando's Jessica Hernandez Earns Inaugural VKTRY Good Sole Award

San Fernando High School graduate Jessica Hernandez has been named one of 14 inaugural recipients of the VKTRY Good Sole Award, a new national scholarship created by performance-insole company VKTRY and Positive Athlete. A softball captain who battled back from a medical setback and emergency surgery during her freshman season, Hernandez helped lead her team to a CIF LA City Section Division I title game and was chosen from more than 15,500 nominations across all 50 states. The award carries a $2,500 scholarship and recognizes student-athletes who lead with resilience, character, and positive influence both on and off the field.
